How to create a favicon

  1. Select an icon from the library (250+ icons) or switch to Upload Image.
  2. Choose icon color, background color, padding and shape (square / rounded / circle).
  3. Preview at 128, 64, 32 and 16px to verify it looks good at small sizes.
  4. Click Download PNG for a high-res icon (256, 512 or 1024px) or Download Favicon Package for a ZIP with favicon.ico, apple-touch-icon, android-chrome PNGs, site.webmanifest and an HTML snippet.
  5. Extract the ZIP and copy all files to your website root. Add the HTML snippet to your <head>.
